B&B Magnifico!

I missed the opportunity to dine at Mario Batali’s Babbo in New York City so I knew I had to go to Batali’s B&B Ristorante when we knew we were going to Vegas.

We were first presented with bruschetta topped with gorbanzo beans tossed in a light dressing. Fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was also brought over.

Grilled Octopus with ‘Borlotti Marinati’ and Spicy Limoncello Vinaigrette.

The best dish of the night and one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had! The octopus was meaty and tender, so unlike any other octopus dishes that I’ve ever had. The vinaigrette was really light and paired perfectly with the tender meat.

Spaghettini with Spicy Budding Chives, Sweet Garlic and One-Pound Lobster.

There was a pound of lobster meat in this dish! The pasta was perfectly cooked with a light flavours so that the lobster maintained its focus in the dish.

Pappardelle Bolognese

An italian classic at its best. I love pappardelle pasta with its noodles and this bolognese was divine – especially with the fresh parmigiano reggiano.

Grilled Pork Chop with Grilled Peaches, Arugula and Vin Cotto

Perfectly cooked…enough said.

Dark Chocolate Torta with Toasted Meringue and Graham Cracker Gelato

The perfect end to our meal. The torta was decadent but not overly sweet. The gelato paired perfectly!

I simply can’t find the right words to express the deliciousness of this meal. Each dish was exquisite and prepared wonderfully. Our server was friendly and tended to our needs throughout the evening. Be prepared for the higher dollar figures on the menu but I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
